Hey! My name is Jeff.

I recently graduated from UCLA with a dual degree in Cognitive Science and Linguistics of Computer Science. Currently, I'm creating community with design as one of the inaugural Figma campus leaders at UCLA, and as the co-president of registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit LA Blueprint!

If you ask me, my secret sauce as a designer lies in the fact that I didn't stumble upon design until later in college. By the time I did, I already had a background in software development, data science, and orchestral performance: experiences that equipped me with a keen insight into the technical aspects of the product cycle, an ability to apply the analytical to the creative, and a strong intuition for what makes a sensory experience beautiful. Combine that with my lifelong love of Marie Kondo, and you get someone who's very passionate about using good design to create a world that sparks more joy!

When I'm not pushing rectangles around, you'll probably find me hosting a board game night, solving the daily NYT crossword, or learning any instrument I can get my hands on (I'm at 6 and counting!)
